Futuristic Laser Tag Lands in Bowling Center

June 2, 2014 - PRLog -- Recreation Lanes in Rochester, Minnesota has added a multi-level custom-themed laser tag arena, totaling over 2,700 square feet.  The Recreation Lanes' new laser tag arena immerses players in a futuristic world on the verge of chaos.  The cyber arena includes an over 14 foot tall 3D galactic centerpiece and amazing flashing lights and interactive props.

Players receive their mission and are fitted in Zone equipment for interactive game play.  Once inside, players are able to see the towering cosmic murals overhead.  "The Creative Works team did a great job painting the walls of our arena.  The galaxy looks three-dimensional under the black light," commented Erin Glorvigen, owner of Recreation Lanes.  Players are put into teams and must move stealthily through a maze of circuits and transducers to stop unknown forces who have stolen earth's power supply.

Creative Works' relationship with Erin began when he attended LaserTAG360 to learn more about the keys to adding a laser tag arena.  "LaserTAG360 (http://www.lasertag360.com) is a program that not only educates new entrepreneurs on the start-up process, but also introduces them to industry leaders who can give insight on running a successful laser tag arena in a bowling center," commented Kim Schilling, VP of Operations at Creative Works.  Erin received valuable information on his feasibility, cost financing, designing the attraction, and more that was crucial for the beginning stages of adding the new attraction.

After completing LaserTAG360, Erin approached Creative Works to build his custom laser tag environment.  Creative Works' design and project management team took Erin through the build-out, coordinated with his architects, designed his layouts, and provided him with all the information needed to prepare the site for Creative Works' arrival.

The new laser tag arena was just one part of a massive renovation that Recreation Lanes undertook, including a name change to Bowlocity Entertainment Center.  The facility was expanded to include an upscale V.I.P. area, a game and redemption arcade, and three birthday party/meeting rooms.  Part of their renovation process included taking out their miniature golf course and batting cages to make room for the new additions.
