The RAD Service Assured Access solution includes the award winning ETX, a powerful Layer 2/Layer 3 Network Termination Unit (NTU), equipped with a D-NFV module, an x86 server that serves as a virtualization engine at the customer edge.

D-NFV is a centerless approach that requires a minimum of upfront investment and risk while providing service agility. The company has been running D-NFV PoC (proof of concept) testing with major carriers since mid-2013, and in a few weeks will publicly demonstrate a Multi-Vendor Distributed NFV PoC within the ETSI NFV ISG framework.
