Christopher Wahlers Joins Object Trading as New Business Sales Executive in North America

LONDON - June 2, 2014 - PRLog -- – Object Trading, an independent provider of global direct market access (DMA), today announced the appointment of Christopher Wahlers as New Business Sales Executive for North America. Mr. Wahlers will be responsible for leading Object Trading’s sales and strategic partnership activities. He will join Object Trading’s New York office and report to Gerry Turner, Executive Director of Object Trading.

With more than two decades of experience working in exchange traded and cleared OTC derivatives markets in the U.S. and Canada, Mr. Wahlers brings his extensive trading knowledge to technology solutions for market participants. He has driven sales efforts throughout the entire sales cycle, and established extensive relationships with global banks, large Futures Commissions Merchants (FCMs), and buy-side customers.

Previously Mr. Wahlers spent over ten years at Trading Technologies and held several regional sales management positions in the U.S. and Canada. He led and implemented strategic sales plans from identifying new business opportunities to managing client relationships and post-sales support. Mr. Wahlers has also spearheaded initiatives to transition traders to electronic systems from the exchange floors in order to stay competitive. Prior to Trading Technologies, Christopher was a futures trader and broker on the trading floor at the Chicago Board of Trade.
