This week-long camp is scheduled for Monday, July 28 through Friday August 1, 2014.
Students in grades rising 6, 7, 8, and 9 are welcome to participate at the Georgia Tech Savannah campus for a week long immersion in underwater robotics and learning.
This highly-specialized camp is offered in conjunction with Dr. Fumin Zhang, Associate Professor, School of ECE, Georgia Institute of Technology, Dr. Carolyn Perry, program director for Georgia Tech’s Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics, and Computing (CEISMC) and Georgia Institute of Technology’s doctoral student, Carol Young, who also graduated from Savannah Country Day School in 2006.
Students will understand remote operated vehicle (ROV) principles, use
underwater cameras to investigate underwater, and test their skills in the open air freshwater pond.

CAMP COST: $200
Parent drop off begins at 8 am, Camp programming begins at 9 am.
Parent pick up begins at 3 pm and ends at 4 pm. There will be no extended day services.
On Friday, August 1 at 2pm, the parents and friends are invited to watch the Underwater Robotics Showcase Event starting at 2pm.
