Miriam Forster learned to read at the age of five, wrote her first story at the age of seven and has been playing with words ever since. Her debut novel CITY OF A THOUSAND DOLLS is available wherever books are sold and the companion novel EMPIRE OF SHADOWS is due to be released in Fall 2014.

Paula Stokes is half writer, half RN, and totally thrilled to be part of the world of YA literature. She grew up in St. Louis, MO where she graduated from Washington University and the Goldfarb School of Nursing. Now she lives in Portland and couldn’t be happier.
