MINNEAPOLIS - May 30, 2014 - PRLog -- EDINA, MN – Spotlight Group, Inc. announced two exciting company changes. They plan to expand their team, and they have promoted Jamal to an executive level.

Jamal will focus on teaching and training as Spotlight Group, Inc. identifies and develops new talent.

After graduating with a marketing degree from Metropolitan University, Jamal worked as a restaurant supervisor and co-owned a martial arts gym. These experiences helped him develop the necessary skills to succeed with Spotlight Group, Inc. “I was able to develop a strong communications skill set while teaching a wide range of individuals,” Jamal explained. “My biggest strengths now are relationship building – I enjoy interacting with clients to help them achieve exceptional results.”

Jamal will be responsible for developing positive brand image and awareness and cultivating relationships with new clients. However, his biggest role will be helping others within the Spotlight Group, Inc. team. “I will be coaching individuals and helping them develop into successful brand ambassadors,” Jamal said, adding that he will draw on past athletic experiences to help new team members. As a former undefeated mixed martial arts fighter, Jamal knows that greatness comes only through perseverance and hard work. “I have learned to have a never quit attitude and a strong work ethic,” Jamal said. “So, I try to lead by example.”

Jamal’s leadership skills and hard-working approach have already made a positive impression on some of his colleagues. Jamal’s past teammate, Alec, explained his admiration for Jamal, saying, “When you see that kind of drive in a person, it’s something pretty special. You listen and follow him not because you have to, but because you want to.” Another of Jamal’s colleagues Myke echoed these sentiments, saying, “I’ve never met someone with so much passion and consistency as Jamal. He will be great at anything he does because of his drive and relentlessness.”

With a desire to develop professionally and continue to advance in his career, Jamal hopes that this is only the beginning of the positive impact he will have on Spotlight Group, Inc.
