The Claiborne Ferguson Law Firm, P.A. Adds Immigration Attorney

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - May 30, 2014 - PRLog -- The Claiborne Ferguson Law Firm, P.A. has associated with a new attorney to continue to expand its legal services to the Mid-south.  Kathryn Maceri, who concentrates on immigration lawand criminal defense law for noncitizens, is now of counsel with the law firm. The addition of Attorney Maceri to the office serves as an important step in The Claiborne Ferguson Law Firm’s goal of building upon its legal team approach. The Memphis law firm is now able to draw upon Attorney Maceri’s knowledge of immigration law and the complex legal issues that noncitizens must navigate when facing criminal charges.

Attorney Maceri’s professional background includes her previous role as an associate attorney for the law firm Frager Sutton Haupt, PLLC. She started working in this role in June 2012. During her time with that firm, Ms. Maceri worked extensively in the field of immigration law and advocated for clients before federal immigration judges in Memphis, Oklahoma City, New Orleans and Oakdale, Louisiana. Prior to launching her law career, Attorney Maceri worked as a staff writer for Guardsmark and as a project manager for an academic medical publisher.

Ms. Maceri is a licensed member of the Tennessee Bar who earned her law degree from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 2011. She did this after earning her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Memphis in 2003. Ms. Maceri lives in Memphis, Tennessee with her  husband and son.
