Chris attended college at Stony Brook University, where he earned his degree in psychology. After attending numerous classes in psychology and sociology, Rhino Ventures’ director of operations has gleaned a lot from his education, helping him become the efficient leader he is now. He commented, “My psychology degree has really helped me to understand people and the impact leadership, teaching, and training can have on people. I intuitively understand where people are coming from, which is why I can communicate effectively with my team at Rhino Ventures.”
Chris also played rugby in college. He credits his sports background for opening his eyes to the true value of teamwork. Chris explained, “I’m a team oriented person. While playing rugby in college, it has really taught me that a team is only as strong as your weakest member. That’s why it’s very important for me to invest in the professional and personal development of every single one of my team members. You always need to think about the team.”
After college, Chris immediately got involved in the interactive marketing industry. With little experience, he learned very quickly and took his training program seriously, putting in all his effort to learn everything about the business model.
Chris’ training was instrumental in his eventual success in opening Rhino Ventures. He recalled, “One of the most important skills I developed was the ability to manage people and build teams. This is especially invaluable in this industry. I’ve developed the knowledge and confidence to interact with clients and customers on a daily basis.”
Rhino Ventures Future Plans for Expansion
Chris lives by the motto of victory through endurance. His ethos has proven to be highly effective in cultivating his team. To this point in Chris’ life, he considers the establishment of Rhino Ventures as a leading provider of consulting and marketing services in North Charleston as his biggest accomplishment. However, his hunger for growth has not ceased. He believes there is still huge untapped talent and resources in North Charleston and he intends to exhaust it as he grows his company.
In addition, Rhino Ventures is aiming to open at least five new offices across the United States in the next two years. Chris is not shying away from the challenge and believes that with ample hard work and determination, he and his team can achieve this goal.
When asked about what advise he would give to his team members on how to achieve success, Chris simply says: “Work ethic, work ethic, work ethic; it’s all the secret you’ll need.”
