LOS ANGELES - May 28, 2014 - PRLog -- Joseph Peebles does it again.  During the 2014 Memorial Day weekend, World-class athlete and seven-time national track & field relay champion Joseph Peebles, once again successfully competed in the St. Louis Olympics.  This year, he won the Gold Medal in the men's swimming competition; he won the Silver Medal in the men's cycling compeition; he won the Silver medal in the men's 195-pound bench press competition, and with a blown and painful left thigh quad muscle, he took 4th place in the men's 200 meter.

Asked if this multi-spoting event was a precuror to the men's Iron Man Triathlon, he answered:  "No I don't think so.  While I enjoy the diversity (e.g. the cycling, the swimming, the weight lifting, and the track & field sprinting) I really don't have the time to invest.  My green electrical energy projects keep me extremely busy."

Since 2002 Peebles has won seven national track & field relay championships.  This year, at the Master's 2014 Track & Field Championship, Peebles is going for triple crown - gold in the men's 4x100 meter relay; gold in the men's 4x400 meteer relay, and gold in the men's 4x800 meter relay.  This will be his 10th overall track & field championship.
