Vincent Manfredi is Officially a Candidate for Maricopa City Council

MARICOPA, Ariz. - May 28, 2014 - PRLog -- Hard work and a dedication to exceeding the expectations set before him led Vincent to show up at the new Maricopa City Complex with over 600 signatures in his folder, but sadly he knew he could only submit 419, as that was the maximum allowed. Vincent said: “I would have worked hard to hit any maximum put before me and would have turned in 1,000 if allowed. The support I have received has been tremendous.”

There are two City Council races going on in Maricopa.  In one race thee candidates are vying to replace Leon Potter and finish that term until 2016. The second has substantially more people working to win a four year regular term. The four year term has three seats available the two year term has only seat.

From the beginning of the year Vincent Manfred said he is running for the four year term and had no intention of switching when Councilman Potter stepped down. He was quoted as saying “I plan to stay in the four year race regardless of what happens with Leon. I feel it gives me the best opportunity to continue serving the people of Maricopa.

Continuing serving would be an understatement. Mr. Manfredi has worked hard since moving to Maricopa in 2010. He has served and volunteered with both the Maricopa Babe Ruth League as well as the Maricopa Little League. He has served the Zoning Code Rewrite Task Force while continuing his service on the Board of Adjustment. Vincent is also the Local Chairman of the Pinal County Republican Committee and volunteers everywhere he can to help Maricopa grow.
