Selected from dozens of entries, Joberate was one of five finalists to compete for the winning spot during the annual HRO Today Forum, held in Philadelphia.
Moderated by Matt Charney, managing editor of RecruitingBlogs, each finalist gave a 7-minute presentation to a judging panel of HR and recruiting practitioners, analysts and technology investors. The judges included:
· Debbie Bolla, Executive Editor, HRO Today Magazine
· Ilya Breyman, Managing Director, Talent Equity Ventures
· Bill Filip, Founder, Delancey Street Partners
· Andrew Gadomski, Founder, Aspen Advisors
· Elaine Orler, President and Founder, Talent Function Group
As this year’s winner, Joberate will receive a number of benefits, including a feature article in HRO Today magazine promoting their victory.
"We are grateful and humbled to have been picked as the 2014 iTalent Competition winner at the HRO Today Forum," said Michael Beygelman, Joberate chief executive officer. Beygelman continued, "The five finalist companies all had interesting products that served a market need, yet at the same time, the judging panel and the attendees felt that Joberate's technology was refreshingly disruptive at solving business problems with significant value, and our business model as a SaaS software information services company was scalable and sustainable."
Elliot Clark, chief executive officer of SharedXpertise, added, “The annual iTalent competition rewards HR and recruiting technology companies that are leading the way in helping businesses recruit and retain employees, and bringing innovative solutions to the HR department. We are absolutely delighted to recognize Joberate as the winner of this year’s award for helping society to better understand the job-seeking behaviors of the global workforce.”
