TalentQuest Completes Integration of InsightProfiles Acquisition

Industry-leading talent management firm commits to augment organic growth with additional strategic acquisitions.

ATLANTA - May 28, 2014 - PRLog -- TalentQuest (http://www.talentquest.com), a leading provider of powerful cloud-based talent management software and consulting services, today announced that it has successfully completed the integration of InsightProfiles, a candidate assessment system that the company acquired earlier this year.

“For more than a decade, InsightProfiles provided clients with a speedy, cost-effective way to make smarter hiring decisions," said Kevin Sessions, president of TalentQuest.  “Now those organizations have access to one of the nation’s leading, most comprehensive, cloud-based software solutions covering the full talent management spectrum including selection, employee profiles, goal and performance management, 360o surveys, succession, compensation and learning management.”

The growth and development of TalentQuest’s software has primarily occurred organically, led by an in-house development team focused on incorporating industry best practices and client feedback.  The acquisition of a well-established and highly respected firm like InsightProfiles and the successful integration of its profiling system marks a turning point for Atlanta-based TalentQuest.

“We now have a proven ability to seamlessly integrate a pre-existing tool and transition clients to our platform,” said TalentQuest’s CEO, Frank Merritt.  “Based on this success, we look forward to future opportunities to further enhance our competitive advantage through additional strategic acquisitions.”

InsightProfiles was an advanced online candidate assessment system that assessed a candidate’s personality traits and characteristics as well as their problem-solving capabilities.  It was launched in 2000 as a joint venture with ChoicePoint and Atlanta-based industrial psychologist, Dr. Wayne Helms.  Dr. Helms took ownership of the system in 2005 when ChoicePoint was acquired by LexisNexis.

“Wayne has focused his 30-plus year career on developing one of the most predictive candidate assessment algorithms in the industry,” Sessions said.  “Integrating his similarity index into TalentQuest’s existing assessment tool gives our clients an advanced method to compare candidates against a benchmark or profile.”

As part of the TalentQuest acquisition, Dr. Helms joined the company’s team as its director of test development, bringing decades of experience and research to his new role.  In this capacity, Dr. Helms is focused on developing the next generation of online assessment systems with an emphasis on helping companies identify and hire the best available talent.

“I’m very excited about the opportunity I have to work with TalentQuest’s world-class team of experts to develop new, innovative and highly effective psychological testing systems,” Helms said.  “We are doing a great deal of research and development in this area and I am confident that we have the team experience, depth of resources and creative ideas we need to succeed.”
