By: Kaleidoscope Cultural Arts Festival On Saturday, May 31st, Kannapolis will be brimming with talent, including some well known names. Among many musicians, a local favorite, David Domingo and The Fuzzbucket Music Company will be performing. Their unique style of folk, blues, gospel, bluegrass, and old time country makes them a town jewel. An array of artists and art styles will be present at the Festival including pop culture artist, Tony Clark, who is well known for his graphic paintings of famous faces such as John Lennon and Marilyn Monroe. Literature will be presented too with authors including Greg Faggart and L.E. Maquire. Also, Independent film and television actress, April C. Turner, best known for her roles in Revolution, ArmyWives, Trinity Goodheart and Eveborgs will be appearing at the Festival from noon to 4PM. Many additional artists will be present at the festival. The Kaleidoscope Cultural Arts Festival is a non profit event, free of charge for artists and spectators alike. The goal of the festival, which includes two more, September 27th and October 25th, is to support the Arts and turn downtown Kannapolis into a flourishing, Old Greenwich Village-style art district.
