United Heritage CEO, Buddy Schroeder, explains, “We host a family-friendly Credit Union Member Appreciation Event each year, but chose to offer two evenings this year. We wanted to expand our reach within the membership and to have the opportunity to engage with more members on a personal level. The events allowed us to put the focus on what makes a credit union special—its members.” The event was attended by new and long-term Credit Union members of all ages. Tickets for the event were $5.00 per person and proceeds benefited the United Heritage Charity Foundation. Drawing prizes at each event included iPad minis, iPod shuffle, iPod touch, Samsung Galaxy Tab, Kindle Fire, YETI Cooler, Nikon COOLPIX Digital Camera, gift cards up to $100 each and more. ### About United Heritage Credit Union The Credit Union was established in 1957 and over 50 years later, serves communities within the Travis, Williamson, Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, Smith and Wood counties.
