Hauser, loves music... loves singing, touring and recording… but, he also loves food...He loves to eat, and he loves to cook. "All the years spent on the road with The Manhattan Transfer, exposed me to many different types of food but the one kind I couldn't get enough of was in Italy," Hauser explains. Tim began experimenting in the kitchen and after a whole year he finally had a batch that he felt was “it”.
He started making more sample jars using the same great ingredients, no sugar and very little salt. He experimented with more varieties and sent them out to more friends and colleagues and kept getting the same positive responses. Like his music it became a passion. Suddenly putting it on the market didn’t sound so crazy because the response was so overwhelming. So, due to the never- ending urging of friends and family Tim Hauser is now launching his line of pasta sauces.
Oh, and the name of his sauce is one that you won’t easily forget, it’s called...I MADE SAUCE! "Let me explain…", begins Tim "I grew up on the New Jersey shore in the 1950’s. A lot of my friends were Italian American. So many times I can remember being at their homes when their moms would call out from the kitchen and say – Hey Timmy why don’t you stay for dinner, I made sauce. So there you go, Why don’t you stay for dinner "I MADE SAUCE!"
Each one of his recipes ( 8 and counting) is inspired by a specific meal he had incertain regions of Italy. The first three varieties are "The Original Recipe Marinara","San Remo Marinara", and "Tomatoes with Arugula and Walnuts".

IN A NUTSHELL: In order to get it up and running a minimum of $20,000 is needed. The great news is they made that goal in record time. The interest is definitely there but the hope is to raise $35,000 to be able to really get the product test market launched. The Kickstarter campaign ends June 5th.
