PRLog - May 26, 2014 - Published NIST 2014 report compares algorithms for 1:N FACE RECOGNITION
May 23rd, 2014
Test results on the performance of automatic face recognition algorithms, published by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)in may 21, 2014, confirmed Ayonix face recognition speed is among the fastest face recognition algorithms. In NIST tests, 30 algorithms were submitted by 16 participants from 10 companies and 6 universities. During NIST tests, 1.6 million faceimages were used. Results show that Ayonix algorithm outperforms the most of face recognition algorithms in terms of enrollment and searching speed.
face recognition technology has recently gained importance, with a growing variety of commercial as well as government applications. With growing variety, the speed becomes much more important to recognize people in realtime.
Ayonix's APS product uses Face recognition to determine people seen in IP cameras. The technology extracts people template and compares with a huge data in database part.
