New Board member adds usability expertise to Diabetes Tools

Other appointments boost sales and app development at medtech firm
 
STOCKHOLM - May 26, 2014 - PRLog -- Diabetes Tools elected user interaction and international telecoms expert Kurt Sillén to its Board of Directors at the medtech company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 7 May 2014.

"Kurt Sillén broadens the Board by bringing a strong customer focus combined with over 25 years of telecoms industry expertise," said Diabetes Tools Board Chairman Per-Anders Johansson. "I welcome Kurt’s software usability know-how and business development skills. His election signals a reinforcement of the company’s strategic direction as we continue the market rollout of our Triabetes Software-as-a-Service solution for remote patient monitoring and care of people with diabetes."

Today, Kurt Sillén is Business Development Manager for the Swedish design and innovation agency Screen Interaction AB. Previously, Kurt was Director of User Experience and Head of Customer Business Development at international telecoms provider Ericsson. He also led Ericsson Mobility World, the telecom giant’s global operator and developer support organization.

Diabetes Tools grows sales and apps teams
The company also strengthened its sales and software development teams with two new expert appointments during May 2014.

Marie-Louice Strömberg, previously at diabetes device and software supplier Diasend, joins as Sales Manager for Scandinavia.

Syed Waqas Haider, formerly a consultant at mobile system developer Crystal Code, joins as iOS Development Manager.
