Evan Guthrie Law Firm Gives Time For Charleston SC TV News To Answer Legal Questions

May 25, 2014 - PRLog -- Attorney Evan Guthrie of the Evan Guthrie Law Firm in Charleston, South Carolina appeared on the WCBD News 2 evening local news to answer legal questions from viewers at their studios in Mt. Pleasant, SC on Tuesday November 12, 2014. The event was called Ask A Lawyer and was sponsored in part by the South Carolina Bar as a Pro Bono outreach to the citizens of the state. Mr. Guthrie and other Charleston, SC area attorneys were on hand for the 5 pm, 530 pm, and 6pm news broadcasts to respond to viewer law questions by television. Attorney Guthrie was assigned a phone and once the news started a number was flashed on the bottom crawl and shortly after that the phone began to ring. Mr. Guthrie answered a variety of questions that ranged from estate planning, probate, family law, divorce, personal injury, employment law, and criminal law.

This was the first time that Attorney Evan Guthrie has participated in the South Carolina Bar Ask A Lawyer Event for the live television portion of the event after previously participating in the Web Chat portion on internet with a computer to answer questions back and forth with viewers. Mr. Guthrie enjoyed being able to give back to the local community by using his law skills to directly aid those in need of legal help. Attorney Guthrie also enjoyed having the chance to be on TV and see the behind the scenes look at a news broadcast. Mr. Guthrie looks forward to being a part of Ask A Lawyer events in the future and the chance to help more people out.
