Nature Scapes Earns Top Performance Award

Bunnell, FL - Nature Scape’s, a landscape, garden center, and florist with a gift shop in Bunnell, is pleased to announce that they have won, for the first time, the Top Performer Award from 1-800-Flowers.

“We were surprised and excited about the award,” said Marylou Baiata, co-owner of Nature Scapes, “We increased our Mother’s Day sales significantly over last year, but those numbers weren’t calculated yet in this award, so we were definitely pleased,” she added.

Nature Scapes relationship with 1-800-Flowers.com allows the shop to offer worldwide delivery. The performance award was giving ‘for the performance excellence for the fulfillment of 1-800-Flowers.com orders.’

Nature Scapes will be hosting a 30-year anniversary open house in June and further information will be sent out shortly on that event.

Opened by Marylou Baiata in 1984, Nature Scape’s has been designing, installing and maintaining landscaping for local homeowners and private communities for 30 years. They have a garden center, florist, and gift shop on property as well. They offer a variety of native plants, flowers, garden supplies, pottery, trees and shrubs, and are well educated on the local city tree requirements. They consider themselves shepherds for the environment through the practice of native and sustainable Florida friendly landscaping, using organic techniques and the best quality of plants and garden amendments.

Nature Scape’s has added a Ecological Farm last year as well, focusing on education, organic growing practices and sustainable living for the local community. Their goal is to find plants for resale in containers, as well as selling fresh produce, and homemade goods from the garden. They also serve as a rescue facility for birds, goats and chickens on the property.
