Alive with Clive Announces Community-Based Plan To Give Away $10,000 To Charities

To create synergies between companies, singer-songwriters and charities, Alive with Clive, where today's top singer-songwriters thrive, will soon be implementing a community-based plan to raise $10,000 for charities with the support of companies

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. - May 24, 2014 - PRLog -- Every week, a top singer-songwriter is featured on Alive with Clive.  Since the singer-songwriters who are featured on Alive with Clive are not as famous as superstars like Katy Perry, Bruno Mars or Lady Gaga, and Alive with Clive is not shown on any of the major TV networks, the show isn’t as widely known as American Idol, The X Factor and The Voice.  Now, however, with the announcement of a community-based plan -- The 1st Alive with Clive 10K Charity Extravaganza -- to give away $10,000 to 501(c)(3) charities in good standing, Alive with Clive is likely to begin to attract the attention of a lot more music fans as well as supporters of charities around the country.

The 1st Alive with Clive 10K Extravaganza calls for up to 1,000 supporters of Alive with Clive to contribute $10 or more in a crowdfunding campaign into a fund to generate the $10,000.  The $10,000 will be distributed to the charities that encourage their supporters to watch This Week on Alive with Clive and enter the contest related to the show in which the supporters can win prizes provided by companies.  Each charity will receive $10 per entry submitted by each supporter who nominates the charity.

“Alive with Clive provides a vital voice for today’s top emerging and established singer-songwriters who appear on the show and inspire us with their imaginative, inspiring and thought-provoking songs,” says Clive Swersky, Host and Producer of the show, “and this community-based plan to raise $10,000 for charities with the participation of their supporters provides a golden opportunity for communities to discover singer-songwriters who are featured on Alive with Clive and at the same time cause funds to be generated for the charities they support.”

When the plan is in effect, the charities that cause the highest number of supporters to watch This Week on Alive with Clive at http://alivewithclive.tv/this-week-on-alive-with-clive-2/ and enter the contest in the shortest amount of time will receive the biggest shares of the $10,000.

The 1st Alive with Clive 10K Charity Extrvaganza has been designed to run in conjunction with The Alive with Clive Win-Win-Win Charity Sponsorship Program, so if a charity has a corporate sponsor that is willing to pay $10 or more for each contest entry, the charity can receive $20 or more for each entry.

Steps are being taken to implement The 1st Alive with Clive 10K Charity Extravaganza soon.  In the meantime, though:

·       Representatives of charities that would like to participate in The 1st Alive with Clive 10K Charity Extravaganza should fill out the form at http://alivewithclive.tv/for-charities; and

·       Representatives of companies that would like to provide prizes or discount coupons for entrants in the contest to capitalize on the cause-related marketing opportunities inherent in The 1st Alive with Clive 10K Charity Extravaganza should fill out the form at http://alivewithclive.tv/be-a-sponsor.

Alive with Clive has been in existence for the past ten years and has been shining the spotlight on the world’s most talented emerging and established singer-songwriters for the past five.  To date, over 230 singer-songwriters have been featured on the show.  In addition, more than 500 video clips from the show have been posted on The Alive with Clive TV Channel on YouTube, and they have been seen over 106,000 times.

In light of the efforts that will be expended to promote this endeavor, charities that participate will not only receive funds but also build a greater awareness about their causes, and companies that participate will gain additional exposure for their products and services while generating goodwill in the process.
