WENATCHEE, Wash. - May 23, 2014 - PRLog -- ApRecs Align™ will give Packers, Shippers, Processors (PSP) the ability to take incoming data, no matter of the source, and normalize it for use within the ApRecs PSP Platform. ApRecs Align will be a component of the ApRecs PSP Association & Awareness Package, Module #2. Pre-release is anticipated on or before May 28th, 2014 with orientation that morning via an online discussion format.

Bureaucracy and Food Safety Record Systems demand a hierarchy structure for reporting. But growers receive recommendations from a variety of suppliers and in different formats. Even single growers with multiple locations may do record keeping differently within the same organization. The problem that exists is that the tree fruit industry is a messy place. There is an array of consultants, academics, auditors and associations, and bureaucrats influencing growers on their applications and as a result their spray records. We need a step by step process for reporting but reality demands that we cut across boundaries and make things happen.

When all stakeholders engage in a single system, it works well. Ag Chem Field Service Staff writes recommendations, which speeds the process of Growers converting recommendations to Spray Records. After this is done Packers have the needed reports. The problem for the packer is not in the collection of this data. The problem is in the collection of all dissimilar data. All the information collected is not on a single system or format. However, PSPs are expected to organize information for reporting and to include all data.

Alignseparates ApRecs from any other Food Safety Records System in the market. Align takes the agglomeration of all dissimilar data and starts putting it together into a streamlined package that enables the PSP to “manage” and benefit from the collection of all information. Align essential moves the information organizing and assembling into the ApRecs PSP Platform.

To accelerate adoption and implementation, Align will be introduced via the ApRecs Packer Café (http://packercafe.com). The Packer Café is an online discussion forum for participating Packers, Shippers and Processor (PSP). The participating PSPs, ApRecs Staff and other industry veterans submit ideas, comment on discussions and share their experiences. Drew Zabrocki, Manager Director of ApRecs says, “The Packer Café provides us added insights over a diverse group that enables to accelerate PSPs adoption and implementation of products.” ApRecs Align is particularly well suited for this type of introduction since it is a method for a journey of improvement versus a finalized product.

Registered participants will be able to attend on May 28th at 8:00 AM for a cup of virtual coffee at the PackerCafe.com, and learn about ApRecs Align™. Participants will have the opportunity to send ApRecs existing sample data and see how we can make it part of an ApRecs PSP Module.

ApRecs provides simple to use, food safety record keeping solutions so that Growers can focus on growing, Packers can ship to market quickly and Marketers can be reassured of a compliant product.
