Lillie Nicole McCloud first appeared on the Billboard US R&B charts as "Nicole" in 1985 with "Always and Forever". Her single "Don't You Want My Love" in 1986 reached Top 10 in the US Dance charts, in addition to charting in Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Sweden. Ten of McCloud's singles landed in the US Billboard R&B and Dance charts. In 2002, McCloud's single "Search’n" In the mid 2000's, with her career not taking her where she wanted to go in the music industry, Lillie McCloud quit recording to spend time raising her children and grandchildren. After following the first 2 seasons of the hit show The X-Factor, and with her families support, Lillie decided to pursue a real recording career again, looking to sing the music she truly believes in. The X-Factor provided a fantastic opportunity to try to make a real comeback in the industry singing the music she loves. It worked and everyone took notice.
