Scheerle Honored As Woman Of Substance By Bridge House/Grace House

NEW ORLEANS - May 22, 2014 - PRLog -- Leading clinician, serial entrepreneur and business leader P.K. Scheerle, RN, has been honored by Bridge House/Grace House as one of three “Saving Graces:  Women of Wellness Honorees.”

Scheerle was recognized May 9 at the organization's 19th annual Women of Substance luncheon, which recognizes outstanding women in the New Orleans community.  The event also raises funds for Bridge House/Grace House's efforts to provide treatment for alcohol and drug dependent men and women.

Scheerle, CEO/Chairman of Gifted Nurses, a leading national clinical staffing company, was one of three Women of Substance lauded at the event.

Scheerle joined Gifted Nurses in 2010 to continue the work of keeping talented clinicians at the bedside and promoting excellence in patient care.

A graduate of Harvard Business School's Executive Program, Scheerle has received many civic, business and professional awards.  A founder of the Great 100 Nurses Celebration, she has also been a recipient of the Humanitarian of the Year Award from the American Red Cross Southeast Chapter, and the American Business Ethics Award from the Society of Financial Service Professionals.
