Trends expert Daniel Levine says solar power is on the rise

Private homes are also switching to solar power, with panels taking up roof and yard space at a growing rate. The private solar panel is coming so popular, in fact, that retailers like IKEA are starting to offer sun collecting cells in their stores.

“Solar panels are an obvious way for environmentally-minded citizens to cut down on fossil fuel use,” says Levine. “They’re easy to install and relatively cheap, meaning they pay for themselves within a short period of time. It’s an obvious solution to a long-standing problem.”
