SEO Company Founder Offers Rewards in Return for Backing

May 21, 2014 - PRLog -- Amanda Salisbury, married mum and entreprenuer from Essex, has recently launched a crowdfunding project which she hopes will enable her to move her SEO Consultancy business Mercadeo Media into a more permanent workspace.

Like most start up businesses, Amanda has been operating her business from her home office while using a virtual business address. Amanda decided to turn to crowdfunding organisation Bloom Venture Catalyst in order to gain backing for an initial 4 months office space rental.

"I think crowdfunding is a brilliant idea for start up businesses who are not looking for a large cash injection," Amanda said. "Bloom has a great concept of  project owners offering rewards in return for financial contributions offeres by backers. If you have already launched your business and are just looking for a small cash injection to move the business forward, this is a great alternative to a business loan. This way, you can give something back, and even pay the favour forward to another project when you are in a position to do so."

Amanda is currently hoping to move her business into a shared office space at the fraction of the cost of a solo office, which also offers the free use of a meeting room. "I am not looking to take on a solo office, I just need somewhere that is a more professional working environment where I can have business meetings and where there are no outside distractions," explains Amanda. "My home office was fine to begin with, but now summer is approaching, the windows are open and the noise of barking dogs, neighbours shouting and children crying are a little off putting, and don't give a professional image over the phone!"

Amanda first began working on internet based ventures after graduating with a degree in Graphic Design. She started out providing design and web development services to family and friends. It was while working as a web search evaluator that she decided to put her practices into a single entity, and create Mercadeo Media, giving more focus on online marketing and SEO services.
