East Valley Engineering for Kids Announces Facebook Photo Contest

STEM enrichment provider seeking photos of Lego and science projects, videos

CHANDLER, Ariz. - May 21, 2014 - PRLog -- East Valley Engineering for Kids, a STEM enrichment provider for boys and girls ages 4-14, has announced a Facebook photo contest. Parents may submit photos of their child's favorite Lego or science project, or 1 minute video, at www.Facebook.com/EastValleyEFK (http://www.Facebook.com/EastValleyEFK), or via email at EastValley@EngineeringforKids.net (mailto:EastValley@EngineeringforKids.net), by Monday, June 9th, to be eligible. The submission with the most “likes” on Monday, June 16th, will win a free week of camp.

According to Ron Hoagland, the Director of the program, “Kids are natural engineers and have a great curiosity about how things work. We want this contest to be a fun way for boys and girls to showcase their creations and their passion for engineering, math and science.”  For more information, call (480) 779-8184.

Engineering for Kids provides full and half day weekly summer camps and other programs that introduce kids to the basic concepts of engineering. Camps start Monday June 2nd at the new Primavera Blended Learning Center and STEM Lab located at 2451 N. Arizona Avenue in Chandler.

The theme-based camps include Video Game Design and Robotics and cover topics from “The Engineering of Pirates,” “Alien Invasion,” “Knights vs. Dragons” among others. For more information call (480) 779-8184 or visit www.engineeringforkids.com/eastvalley.
