Amman, Jordan— May, 2014—In its continued efforts to exercise the highest safety measures, Total Jordan seized the opportunity of World Safety Day to hold a safety awareness event where its employees could participate in communicating with customers at TOTAL’s service stations enlightening them about the safety procedures taken into consideration at all stations.

A presentation was organized for all employees where they reviewed TOTAL’s safety protocol to ensure it is being exercised dutifully, where they were acquainted with rules and regulations upheld at all Total Jordan’s service stations as well as facilities to promote a healthier work environment. Afterwards, the entire Total Jordan staff including the Managing Director, Heads of Departments, senior managers, and employees participated in this event by visiting TOTAL’s service stations not only in Amman, but also in Zarqa , Irbid , and the Capital’s surrounding areas to notify the customers on the regulations routinely exercised and highlight the company’s commitment in assuring the proper implementation of safety measures. The event was concluded by giving away first aid kits as complimentary gifts to the customers presented at the service station.

Total Jordan has always shown great enthusiasm in organizing various activities including training courses for its employees, giving them proper attention to its rules and regulations. The wellbeing of all its employees and Jordanian citizens has always been of the highest importance and priority to Total Jordan.

Mr. Philippe Cabus, the Managing Director of Total Jordan, commented on the initiative saying, “Here at Total Jordan, we look into the details of our operations to ensure that quality assurance is met and the company maintains sustainability.
