The Central Philadelphia Development Corporation and the Center City District recently reported that as of June 2013, the Philadelphia area had rebounded from the recession, creating 12,000 new wage and salary jobs compared to the same period in 2009 -- an approximately 2% rate of growth in the city’s job base.
