Libby Speaks: The Wit and Wisdom of the World’s Wisest Dog with Author John Sheirer

Libby Speaks provides a rare look into one miraculous canine mind as Libby, a happy and lovable Border Terrier, gives us her gift of insight about life’s mysteries. At the Oliver Wolcott Library on Monday, June 2 from 1:30- 2:30 p.m.
 
LITCHFIELD, Conn. - May 21, 2014 - PRLog -- We all know that dogs have a special wisdom that makes them among the most beloved creatures on earth.  Libby Speaks provides a rare look into one miraculous canine mind as Libby, a happy and lovable Border Terrier, gives us her gift of insight about life’s mysteries.  John Sheirer’s stunning photographs provide the perfect backdrop for Libby to share her wit and wisdom with readers young, old, and every age in between.

John Sheirer is the author of several other books, including Tales of a Real American Liberal, the short story collection One Bite, the memoir Loop Year: 365 Days on the Trail, which received the Connecticut Green Circle Award for environmental activism as well as the memoir Growing Up Mostly Normal in the Middle of Nowhere, a finalist for the Santa Fe Writers Project Literary Award.  John teaches English and Communications at Asnuntuck Community College in Enfield where he has been honored by Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers and recently received the Distinguished Service and Educational Excellence Award.  Visit his website at JohnSheirer.com.
