Power Design Partners with Magellan Development Group and McHugh Construction on Nashville High Rise

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - May 20, 2014 - PRLog -- Power Design, Inc. a national electrical contractor & engineer, was recently awarded 205 Demonbreun Street, located in the up-and-coming Sobro district of Nashville which spans eight city blocks. The 33-story high rise development will consist of 313 units as well as retail space, and is striving for LEED Silver certification.

The construction site is located directly across from Encore, another high rise Power Design completed in 2008 for Brasfield & Gorrie. Like Encore, 205 Demonbreun is a design-build project involving engineering and coordination at an early stage. “We look forward to working with Magellan and McHugh on this endeavor,” said Electrical Designer, Jeremiah Overman. “Design-build helps us focus on efficiency and cost savings for the project.”

Power Design’s new partnership with Magellan Development Group and McHugh Construction resulted in two simultaneously negotiated projects; 205 Demonbreun Street and Midtown 5 in Miami, Fla.
