PCCW Global and Huawei open new state-of-the-art Global HD Video Communications Center

This leading edge facility, located at Telecom House in Wanchai, Hong Kong showcases a full range of the latest innovative HD calling, conferencing, and collaboration solutions, which are available on multiple devices including telepresence rooms, conferencing terminals, tablets, and smartphones.

PCCW Global is one of the first service providers globally to offer a point-to-point cross-private network video calling service that makes communicating in HD as familiar and easy to use as making a traditional voice call. An employee can simply dial the number of another video user either within or outside their own organization, locally or abroad, and connect in HD with no need for a pre-set time or conference bridge to be arranged.

The cloud-based HDVC platform, jointly built by PCCW Global and Huawei, offers service providers and multinational enterprises cost-effective deployment of high quality video collaboration services that have the power to transform business communications, providing an extremely rich, real-time face-to-face experience.
