Charity Tea with Shakespeare in aid of The Samaritans

STRATFORD-UPON-AVON, U.K. - May 20, 2014 - PRLog -- Hathaway Tearooms, a quintessential 17th century tearoom and Tudor World, an historic building and attraction in Stratford upon Avon, have joined together to produce a pleasurable afternoon of High Tea and High Jinks for charity.

William and his wife Anne will entertain at this light-hearted afternoon with songs, sonnets and insults. Included is a quintessential afternoon tea.

A raffle will be held during the afternoon, all the profits of which will be going to the Samaritans.

The Samaritans are a charity that have been providing a 24 hour a day life-line listening service for 60 years and is run by volunteers.

The events takes place on Sunday 22nd June at 5pm, Hathaway Tearooms, High Road, Stratford upon Avon CV37 6AU and costs £20 per ticket. The ticket includes a High Tea with handcrafted cakes, sandwiches, scones and unlimited tea or coffee. Shakespeare and his wife will entertain the guests throughout the afternoon.
