Hope in the Stars will unite the East Texas community and inspire the entire country as family, friends, co-workers, riders and cancer survivors combine their strength and dedication in the fight against advanced cancer and the search for HOPE. Members of the United States Equestrian Drill Association's 2014 All Star Team – comprised of talented youth riders from each team competing in the Super Ride United States Equestrian Drill Championship (USEDC) - will be teamed one-on-one with a cancer survivor.
Each rider and survivor pair will seek to raise funds and to create a greater awareness of the information, support and treatments available to those living with advanced cancers.
Super Ride XII will run June 17 – 21 at the Texas Rose Horse Park (TRHP), near Lindale (TX). Promoted as the “World Series of Team Riding”, the festival will feature championship level competitions in five (5) equestrian disciplines:
During the Hope in the Stars campaign, members of the public will be urged to read inspiring on-line stories, to symbolically join a team, or to honor a friend or loved one by purchasing a star representing HOPE.
Residents of East Texas, and Super Ride XII visitors, are also asked to support a very special benefit concert featuring East Texas recording artist, Clay Thrash, and country music star, Wade Hayes. Mr. Hayes is himself a survivor of an advanced cancer.

A special mounted performance by the All Star riders will highlight the final day of the Super Ride XII festival, on Saturday, June 21.
Tournament organizers have also announced the addition of RevitaVet Therapy Systems and CPR Texas to the growing list of event sponsors.

The Super Ride Organizing Committee is promoting the availability of its free mobile phone application. The tool is currently available via the Google Play Store (Android) and Windows Phone Store (Windows Phone), and will soon also be available via the Apple App Store (iPhone). The Super Ride 'app' provides access to the latest event updates, schedules, maps, etc., and will be a portal for daily audio and video summaries throughout the festival.
Highlights of Super Ride XII: International Festival of the Equestrian Arts will be included in a special edition of “With Equestrian Tact: The International Video Magazine of the Equestrian Sports” licensed in North America to HRTV - The Network for Horse Sports.
“Super Ride Sunday”, the official kick off to the 2014 tournament will be held on Sunday, June 15, from 5:00 - 7:30 p.m., at the TRHP Clubhouse. The special Father's Day presentation will feature award winning documentaries from HRTV, a VIP reception themed “A Toast to Dad” and the world premiere of a “With Equestrian Tact...” episode spotlighting Shanghai and HORFA: The China International Horse Fair.
