Crocker Partners Adds Three Sr. Execs To Commercial Re Team

May 19, 2014 - PRLog -- BOCA RATON, Fla. – Crocker Partners (http://www.crockerpartners.com) today announced three new executives as the private real estate equity company grows its office property portfolio in the southeast and southwest U.S.  Fred. W. Taeger joined the management team as Director of Financial Reporting, Josh Edwards as Vice President, Regional Asset Manager for North and Central Florida, and Scott Barr as Associate.

Angelo Bianco, partner, said Crocker Partners added the new positions to strengthen its in-house capabilities as it aggressively pursues new acquisitions, and fully integrates the more than 1.2 million sq. ft. in assets acquired over the past 12 months. Overall, Crocker Partners owns more than 6 million sq. ft. with more than $1 billion invested in Atlanta, Houston and throughout Florida including Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Orlando, Tampa and Jacksonville.

As Director of Financial Reporting, Taeger is responsible for the company’s investor and lender financial reporting, and income tax compliance. A certified public accountant, he was an audit senior manager with Deloitte & Touche LLP before joining Crocker Partners, and previously was with Ocwen Financial Corporation, within its mortgage operations. He holds Bachelor of Science degrees in accounting and finance from Florida State University.

Edwards was named vice president, regional asset manager for North and Central Florida, where Crocker Partners owns approximately 1.5 million sq. ft.  He was previously vice president at Wells Fargo, responsible for $150 million of commercial real estate throughout the Southeast U.S., including more than 1.5 million sq. ft. in Florida. He also served as director of development for Flagler Development in North and Central Florida, and project manager for Evergreen Construction in Atlanta. Edwards holds a Master of Business Administration from Emory University, Goizueta Business School and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida, Rinker School of Building Construction. He is a board member of the Urban Land Institute’s North Florida chapter.

As Associate, Barr is responsible for analysis, due diligence and transaction execution functions for new acquisitions in Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee, as well as assisting with asset management, property management and leasing functions. Prior to joining Crocker Partners, Barr worked with New York Life Real Estate Investors, Buchanan Street Partners, LNR Partners, and Raymond James Tax Credit Funds. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Florida, and is active with the Atlanta chapter of the Urban Land Institute including serving as the Young Leaders Group chair and on the District Council Management Committee for three years.
