Follow on Google News | Long Island Game Farm Announces Opening of Erik’s Reptile Edventure Discovery CenterNew Show To Be Featured Throughout the Summer Season For Family Entertainment
By: Long Island Game Farm Since 2006, Erik has been performing live reptile shows at schools and local events throughout New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Madagascar. His mission is to share knowledge and academic growth to help preserve natural places in our world and cultivate a love for nature. In addition, Erik founded the non-profit organization, Wildlife Kids Club International, which builds Nature Education Centers to provide environmental education to children in the United State and in impoverished villages worldwide. Erik’s Reptile Edventure Center will be located at the far end of the Game Farm. Children will get to meet over 10 species of animals and learn intriguing facts about each animal’s lifestyle from Erik’s experiences. Additionally, Erik’s Reptile Edventures will provide video sessions from all over the world. This activity will be extremely beneficial for children, due to the exciting, hands-on educational experience, which has proven to be the most efficient way to learn. Children should get ready for stimulating lessons on creepy crawlers! Dates for Erik’s live shows are set for May 23, May 24, May 31, June 30, July 12, July 19, August 2, August 4, August 7, and August 9 — all scheduled at various times. Each live show will highlight different animals and their habitats. However, the Reptile Edventure Discovery Center will be open every day during the Game Farm’s summer season for guests to explore. “We cannot wait to officially open Erik’s Reptile Edventure Discovery Center,” says Melinda Novak, Co-Owner, Long Island Game Farm. “He is an amazing reptile enthusiast who children love to watch. We know he will make learning fun for our young guests throughout his live shows.” For more information about Erik’s Reptile Edventure Discovery Center at the Long Island Game Farm, please call (631) 878-6644 or visit www.longislandgamefarm.com.
