PRLog - May 19, 2014 - POOLE, U.K. -- National Locksmith Keytek™ took part in the Great Dorset Bake Sale by holding a Bake Sale at it’s Head Offices in Poole, Dorset on Friday 16th May in aid of charity Diverse Abilities Plus.
Bake Sale for Charity Diverse Abilities Plus
The Bake Sale was a great success with members of the Keytek™ Team donating a variety of baked goodies including a chocolate ‘Pigsty’, brownies, cheese straws, no bake chocolate slices and rocky road. These baked goods went down a real treat at the Keytek™ offices with the Company successfully managing to raise £76.90.
The Team also held a ‘Bake Off’ competition with prizes for the ‘Most Creative Baked Goodie’ and the ‘Most Tastiest Baked Goodie’; prizes included the ‘Scrumptious Home Baking’ recipe book (kindly donated by Diverse Abilities Plus) and a bottle of wine (donated by the Directors at Keytek™). Members of the Keytek™ Team put in a fantastic effort and really channelled their inner Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood, with prizes going to Technical Assistant Laura for her ‘Pigsty’ and Marketing Director Kim for his ‘Brownies ‘n’ Cream’.
Eddie Wilkinson, Operations Director at Keytek™, said: “Here at Keytek™ we don’t really need a reason to show off our culinary skills therefore we were more than delighted to hold a Bake Sale in aid of Diverse Abilities Plus for the Great Dorset Bake Sale. It was great to see all members of the office get stuck in and make some truly scrumptious creations which everyone in the office can agree were a real treat!”
All funds raised by Keytek™ will be donated to Diverse Abilities Plus. The Dorset-based Charity supports young people aged 2-19 with their dedicated specialist day school ‘Langside School’ and provide a wide range of short term breaks which include anything from sailing to horse riding. For adults the charity provides supported living as well as organised day activities and trips.
