After months of speculation, the contest, held in Atlanta, GA in the midst of a two day celebration, called the FACE Awards, revealed the winner; Tateasa Ramsey. Chosen as “The Face of Nehita” from among hundreds of applicants, Tateasa embodies the class and sophistication of an international woman. Although Nehita’s collection has been worn by celebrities such as Whitney Houston, Natalie Cole, Megan Good and others, “the company was looking for an image of a woman who is not only beautiful, but who represents the core values of what the company stands for,” said Nehita’s founder.
Tateasa, a native of Birmingham, AL now lives outside of Atlanta, GA. She is an actress, wife and mother who supports and gives back to her community.
Tateasa was chosen by a group of celebrity judges that read like a who’s who in Atlanta, most notably, television personality, Heidi Fuller; Global Connector/Radio Producer, Sebrena Sumrah Kelly; Actor/Director/
As “The Face of Nehita”, Teteasa will represent the company as a positive role model as a woman who is connected globally and spiritually around the world, through her dress, her taste, her style.
