New speakers from Facebook, Visiblebanking.com and NixonMcInnes at Financial Services Social Media

Latest agenda released including exclusive case-studies for event taking place in London, 17th June 2014

PRLog - May 19, 2014 - New speakers have been announced for the third Financial Services Social Media conference organised by Haymarket Media Group – and following two successful years, 2014 is set to be another sell-out event.

Previous attendees from Allianz Insurance Plc commented it was ‘a must attend for companies planning their social media strategy’ while attendees from Standard Life Investments said it was ‘hugely beneficial, (and a) great opportunity to get up to speed on social media’.

Key themes under the spotlight include:

Understanding current regulations and new FCA guidelines
Maximising those existing and emerging social platforms that are the best fit for your organisation
Creating engaging and relevant content for both customers and intermediaries/investors
Improving content and channels strategy, including mobile and videos
Demonstrating ROI and developing a social business model that works
Linking customer experience, social data and innovation

Christophe Langlois, Founder of Visiblebanking.com is just one of the latest additions to the agenda. In his session, Christophe will share his views and offer insights and best practice on how social media is being adopted by the financial services industry worldwide.

He commented ‘very few companies and digital agencies understand how to communicate on social media. Most still struggle to produce the right content, optimised by channel, and fail to connect with the right audiences…plus the sheer volume of unstructured data is a challenge to successfully leverage 'big data', the latest 'Holy Grail' of sales and marketing.

The two-day event offers digital marketers from across the financial services industry 15 interactive sessions and 2 workshops focussed on harnessing the power of social media. Delegates will be advised on developing effective social media plans that improve engagement levels, deliver efficient and cost-effective customer service and achieve stronger business performance.

Other speaker highlights include presentations from Nationwide, LinkedIn, Twitter, RSA, Allianz Insurance, Barclays, Standard Life, Post Office, CME Group, Lloyds of London, Visible Banking, LV and Nucleus Financial Group to name just a few.

A selected number of tickets are available until 16th May at the early bird rate. Further information and the full event programme can be found at www.marketingmagazine.co.uk/financial-services-social-media/overview
