Incorporated in 1894, the borough of Maywood was originally settled by Dutch farmers in the 1600s. The New Jersey Midland Railway arrived in 1872 and provided the means of transportation of people, goods and services. From then, Maywood grew measurably and today still retains its character and charm.
Illustrated through more than 200 quality images and detailed captions, Arcadia Publishing’s newest book provides the reader with a visual journey into Maywood's past.
