TVS Global Media Adds Former Cal St. Fullerton Basketball Star to NABL Summer Showcase

Four NABL teams will be competing in California City in June and July to get thA basketball teams overseas.
 
CALIFORNIA CITY, Calif. - May 17, 2014 - PRLog -- Former Cal State Fullerton basketball guard Mike Williams has been added to the California City Dust Devils NABL Basketball team for the NABL Summer Showcase to be held in California City on Friday nights in June and July. The Dust Devils join the San Diego Neptunes, the Orange County Ramblers, and the Seattle Bakers in eight Friday Night doubleheaders June 7- August 2.

Williams was the 2013-14 Big West Newcomer of the Year for theTitans, He also made the 2013-14 Big West Second Team.He was the only player to start all 31 games and led the Titans in points (538; 17.4 ppg), three-pointers (71) and assists (76)…shot 41.7 percent (184-of-441) from the floor, 35.9 percent from three-point range (71-of-198) and averaged 4.1 rebounds per game, recorded double figures in all 31 games, including 12 20-point performances, and led the Titans in scoring on 18 occasions and led Fullerton in assists 13 times. Mike Williams ranked in the top-10 of four Big West statistical categories: points (17.4 ppg; 5th), three-point field goal percentage (.359; 8th), three-pointers per game (2.29, 3rd), minutes (34.61; 2nd).

The NABL provides world class basketball players the opportunity to showcase their talents to FIBA teams around the world. More than 50 recent NABL players went on to pro baskeetball careers overseas in countries such as Ireland, England, Spain, Sweden, Moxico, New Zealand, Germany, Australia, Brazil, and China.

The TVS Television Network, the fourth oldest commercial broadcast TV network, will televise all NABL Summer Showcase games. TVS has televised major collegiate basketball since it's inception in 1960.

The winning team from the NABL Summer Showcase in California City will travel to Hawaii to play the Hawaii Chiefs in a five game series.
