Menlo Park Kick-A-Thon to benefit Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital a Huge Success!
MENLO PARK, Calif., May 16, 2014 – On Saturday, May 10, Kuk Sool Won™ of Menlo Park hosted their annual “Kick-a-Thon”
The Kick-a-Thon took place from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., during which students ranging in age from 4 to 40+ kicked continuously for a combined total of 118,484 kicks! Following the kick-a-thon, students and their families enjoyed delicious food, carnival games, and a great afternoon strengthening their community together. The event raised a net of over $14,500 to share between the two charities.

Kuk Sool Won™ of Menlo Park has offered a sliding fee program since 2004 to make sure that everyone who wanted to join our program could benefit from martial arts training, regardless of their income level. The MPMA Scholarship Program was formed in September of 2012 so our community could work together and continue helping more families benefit from martial arts training.
