By: The Boston Center for Adult Education Class Schedule: Toasty Buns: Burgers To Blow Your Mind Chef Richard Chudy, the man behind the Boston Burger Blog, teams up with Katie Chudy from the Small Boston Kitchen to teach burger lovers of all cooking levels how to make mouthwatering burgers. The class is very hands-on and in depth; students even grind their own meat and make homemade condiments. Class is held Wednesday, June 4th, 2014, 1 session from 6:00PM-9:00PM. $60 non-members/$ Top It Off: Homemade Condiments Chef Richard and Katie Chudy, help students take their barbeque skills to an even higher level. After taking this course students will be an expert in making their own ketchup, barbeque sauce, aioli, hot sauce and more. They will also be able to bottle up their homemade condiments to take home and use on future meals as well as impress friends and family at the next cookout.Class is held Wednesday, June 11th, 2014, 1 session from 6:00PM-9:00 PM. $50 non-members/$ The Perfect Picnic Picnics can sometimes seem like a lot of work. In this class, Dustin Todd Rennells creates the perfect homemade picnic and shows students just how simple it can be. He will also explore topics regarding what food will stay freshest unrefrigerated for periods of time and not lose their taste. Class is held Saturday, June 14th, 2014, 1 session from 10:00AM- 1:00 PM. $60 non-members/$ Frozen (https://owa2010.exchangecentral.net/ What’s more refreshing than a frozen daiquiri on a hot summer day? A homemade fresh daiquiri. Leave the store bought mix behind and join the wonderful Dustin Rennells and learn to create numerous delicious summer drinks made fresh with ice, fruit and other yummy ingredients. Class is held Sunday, June 15th, 2014, 1 session from 2:30PM-5:30PM. $50 non-members/$ Smokin’ Hot: Classic Summer BBQ In this class Dustin Rennells, teaches students the fundamentals of backyard barbeque. Students learn how to create hot summer favorites like BBQ dripping chicken and steaks cooked to perfection through a hands-on grilling experience. Favorite summer beverages will also be included. Class is held Monday, June 16th, 2014, 1 session from 6:00PM-9:00PM. $60 non-members/$ Sangria And Summer Fruit Cupcakes What better way to enjoy a summer afternoon than sipping sangria and baking one-of-a-kind summer fruit inspired cupcakes? Cupcakes that students will be creating include: Triple Chocolate/Triple Berry, Orange-Drop, Key Lime and special cupcakes inspired by the spicy fruit sangria that will also be featured during the class.
