Stoneybrook West Master Association Receives Top Honors for “Communications & Community”

WINTER GARDEN, Fla. - May 15, 2014 - PRLog -- Stoneybrook West Master Association was presented with a state-wide Communities of Excellence award on May 2 in the category of “Communications & Community” for large homeowner and condo communities. This award recognizes associations for positive community relations through effective use of email, newsletters, social media, online and other communications.  The Stoneybrook West application was strong because of the many tools they use to keep their residents informed, including a welcome packet, website, emails, flyers, Facebook, Twitter and LED signs at the entrances. A successful “green approach,” caused by shifting more emphasis to electronic communications, produced an annual savings of more than $21,000 in postage, printing and mailing costs.

Norman Rein, former Board President of the Association, says everything the Board does is with good communications in mind.  “We have over 1,200 housing units in Stoneybrook West and the size makes keeping residents updated a continuing priority. To keep our community vital and strong requires homeowners to buy-into the decisions we make on their behalf. I believe the many ways we reach out to them the key to our success.”
