TourRadar Meet Is WhatsApp for Group Travel

Since its initial launch in 2011, TourRadar’s Meet app has helped more than 30,000 travellers from over 130 countries connect prior to their tour departing. Developed for both iOS and Android devices, the app has become the number one mobile messaging platform designed specifically for travellers on group tours. The newly launched update increases the app’s usefulness for travellers, expanding from a primarily pre-tour messaging platform to an integrated system of efficient group communication with photo-sharing capabilities, ideal for use both on tour and after returning home.

Whether using the iOS or Android version of the app, users simply select their Meet group by entering the name of their tour, their departure date or their tour operator name. After joining the group chat, users can tap the photo icon to the left of the message box and choose to either upload a photo from their gallery or snap a new photo on the spot. The photo is then sent to the Meet and uploaded to the group’s photo gallery, taking all the hassle out of chasing up tour mates after the trip.
