The Non-Conformist Arts Convention Announces July 26th, 2014 Event in Pomona

An alternative arts convention dedicated to the exploration and celebration of regional art and artists, comics, zines, and local graphic works will be presented at the dA Center for the Arts.

PRLog - May 15, 2014 - POMONA, Calif. -- On July 26th, 2014, the dA Center for the Arts will host The Non-Conformist Arts Convention from 5pm until 9pm.

This unconventional convention will feature local artistic luminaries incuding Edward Beardsley, Terry Givens, and Matthew Hill discussing their work and the graphic works of others. Breakout sessions, panel discussions, a 'zine-making workshop with Uncle Bacon, and a Shakespearean reading of Star Wars are all topped off with a masquerade ball/parade at the end of the night. 3 days of convention activities in 4 hours. That's compressed fun, and how!
