Follow on Google News | Coming Soon - Pre-registrations for New gTLDsWe’re excited to introduce two exciting features on our platform! Pre-registrations for New gTLDs
We’ll soon be launching a special “pre-registration” Here’s a glimpse of how it will look: Here is how it will work: There will be phases of pre-registrations: Priority pre-registration: In this phase the domain order will be sent to the registry during the Landrush phase of the concerned domain extension Regular pre-registration: In this phase the domain order will be sent to the registry when the General Availability of the concerned domain extension commences Priority pre-registration: For domains which support priority pre-registration (i.e for domains extensions that have an applicable landrush period), you can choose in which of the 2 phases you wants to book your domain. In case you opts for a premium pre-registration, we will submit the request for you in the Landrush period. Landrush registrations are not first-come-first- The allocation will be decided as follows: If there are multiple registration requests for a particular domain name, then this domain would enter into an auction where the concerned registry will allot the domain name to the highest bidder. If you is the sole applicant for a particular domain name, then this domain name will be allocated to you by the concerned registry. Regular pre-registration: In the regular pre-registration process, our tool will attempt to grab your domain as soon as the concerned Registry opens up for General Availability. There may be multiple applications for the same domain from customers at other Registrars. As the General Availability phase works on a first-come-first- In both premium and regular pre-registrations, upon receiving confirmation from the registry that the domain name has been allocated to you, we will activate it within the Control Panel. Stay tuned to our emails to know more about the launch dates of Pre-registrations for new TLDs! End
