"The concept is differentiated from other coffee shops or delis in two ways," explains Lord Neil Gibson. "We decided to partner with Kona Coffee in order to source unique coffee blends that will be only available on a geographic basis. What this means is that individual Caffe Momenti locations will have unique coffee blends that are only available in that area and nowhere else." This concept is very much like the private label wine industry which will make small batches of wine available only for short periods of time and in certain locations. Caffe Momenti will be the exclusive retailer of these blends.
The other aspect of Caffe Momenti that Lord Neil Gibson draws attention to is the fine Italian deli that will be available in all locations, servicing the demand for lunch and dinner menus that will compliment the coffee perfectly. The stores are scheduled to begin being rolled out later this year in Europe, and will be transitioned into a United States footprint to follow.
Lord Neil Gibson is no stranger to concept development, and through the team at LNBG LLC has a long history of successful rollouts within industries including healthcare, human services, finance and credit card processing. The additional of Caffe Momenti to the portfolio will mark Gibson's first venture into foodservice.
