Community Celebrates the Military on Armed Forces Day

LAS VEGAS - May 13, 2014 - PRLog -- The upcoming Military Appreciation Day Celebration is being held on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 17, 2014, as a way to say thank you to active duty and retired military and their families for all they have done and continue to do for our country.

The festival will be held at the Craig Ranch Regional Park (formerly Craig Ranch Golf Course) from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.   Over 5,000 participants are expected to attend.

The day will treat active and retired military and their immediate families to a hot lunch and refreshments generously provided by Aramark, Sam’s Club, Walmart and Coca-Cola. An impressive lineup of entertainment includes, The Beatles Show Tribute direct from Planet Hollywood, celebrity impersonators, Hawaiian dancers, Molodi Live, Bobby Kingston Band, DJ Larose Royce and DJ Diego and other local celebrities and entertainers who have volunteered their time and talent.

The event is open to the public and there will be a Food Truck Village with a wide variety of food available for purchase by nonmilitary attendees. Vendors from throughout the community will also be there to lend their support.
