New BurgerFi in Altamonte Springs is NOW OPEN

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. - May 13, 2014 - PRLog -- ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. (May 12, 2014) – The wait is over for Altamonte Springs residents; no more mouth-watering drive-bys wondering “when?” The area’s new BurgerFi is now open.

Gourmet burgers and Kobe beef hot dogs are on the grill, craft beer and wine have been cooled and customers are chilling with cold Concrete Custard on the patio.

Franchisee ADINO Altamonte Springs, LLC – operated by the Koeser family – turned the old People’s Bank building in the Oak Grove Shoppes plaza along State Road 434 into what is currently the largest BurgerFi ever built. The owners even retained the bank vault and are using it to store dry goods.

Customers will find a huge outdoor patio, perfect for an al fresco lunch or dinner – with a cool breeze provided by a 14-foot overhead fan. There’s also a private VIP dining area that can be used for events.

As with all BurgerFi locations, green is more than a description of the lettuce on top of the burgers. The restaurant’s design puts an emphasis on environmentally sustainable elements, including recycled furnishings and energy efficiency.  Aluminum tables and chairs are made from recycled cans. Wood tables are made from recycled pressed plywood, while outdoor plastic furniture is made from recycled containers, like soda bottles and milk jugs. Meals are served on washable trays to reduce waste, and that’s also the reason you won’t find paper towels in the restrooms.

This is ADINO’s second BurgerFi location – with more in the works. The company will open a BurgerFi in Clermont later this year, and has plans to open two locations in Osceola County in 2015, and one in the Winter Springs/Oviedo area in 2016.

BurgerFi Altamonte Springs is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 am to 10 pm, and Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 11 pm.
