LAS VEGAS - May 13, 2014 - PRLog -- Lightweight prizefighter Jesus "Chuy" Gutierrez, boasting an undefeated 12-0 record with four KOs, is getting ready to electrify the ring once again at Las Vegas' fabulous Tropicana Hotel at 8 PM on Saturday, May 31, where he'll take on Pablo Beccera, looking to extend his winning streak.  The much-anticipated match will be carried live on HBO Latino.  Gutierrez, who was named the "Breakout Athlete Of The Year" at the Vegas Music Awards, defeated Moris Rodriguez before a sold-out Throw Down At Sam's Town crowd on April 4, at Sam's Town Hotel and Casino, to much critical acclaim.  He is also an outspoken advocate with Bully Busters 702, a local anti-bullying campaign, which is an important cause for the rising star.  Gutierrez is all set to host a Press Day this Wednesday, May 14, at 2:30 PM, in the Pound 4 Pound Boxing Gym, located at 2015 Highland Avenue in Las Vegas, where he enjoys a huge following.  Interested media outlets can get up close with the fighter as he prepares for his next bout.

Gutierrez, 25, was born in The Mexican town of Culiacan, Sinaloa, but his family emigrated to the US when he was still an infant.  Arriving in Las Vegas at age 14, where he first discovered his passion for boxing while in high school.  He discovered Johnny Tocco's boxing gym, where he met his trainer, fellow Vegas native Danny Garcia.  Within a few months, Gutierrez was fighting in the Las Vegas amateur program, where he achieved an impressive 13-0 record before suffering his only career defeat.  As a pro, Gutierrez rose quickly to his present stature, and this young pugilist knows there's literally no limit to his future in the ring.

"I've always been a confident fighter, but it wasn't till the guys from the Mexican Olympic committee got a hold of me, that really convinced me that this boxing thing was for real," Gutierrez recalls.   "This sport had strangely found me, and there is no way I'm gonna let it go. I've always stood out in everything I've done, but boxing gives me this high, this feeling which I've never felt, nor can I replace."  Gutierrez says boxing is his destiny, and he is constantly improving.  "I was born for this, and every day that passes, I get better. With the support of my family, friends, and my ambition, there is nothing that can stop me. I'm here to make  my name remembered in this this sport. I can talk about it all day, but I'd rather show you."

Gutierrez, described by East Side Boxing as a "very heavy hitter", is a hometown hero in the desert city's boxing world, and his team's Right Hook Promotions along with promotions by HustleGurl Entertainment has their man squarely in the spotlight.  With each new challenge, Gutierrez steps proudly into the ring, ready to deliver a knock out performance that stuns opponents and fans alike.  You can see more about Gutierrez, including film of his April 4 fight, at http://hustleboss.com/tag/jesus-chuy-gutierrez/.
